Top 10 psychological LIFE HACKS

Situation #1: Imagine, you are in a travel agency and you need detailed information about some place that you want to go on a holiday. A person who works there tells you only a part of the information that he thinks you need the most. If they only partially answer your question, just wait. Stay silent and keep the eye contact. They will usually continue talking.

Situation #2: You go to a party with your friends.
There are some new people that you
need to meet for the first time. When you first meet them try to notice their eye color while also smiling at them. Look them in the eyes for a second or two longer. People really respond to it.

Situation #3: Your friend introduced you to their friends. After 10 minutes, they decide to leave. Don’t just say “bye”. Refer them by their name. People love being referred to by their name and it will establish a sense of trust and friendship right away.

Situation #4: You are studying something new for the exam that you have next month. If you want to check did you really understand what you learned, teach your friends about it. Then, let them ask questions. If you are able to teach something well, it means you understand it.

Situation #5: You are “having a bad day” today. You are maybe angry or sad. So, if you make the biggest smile you can, you will automatically feel happier.

Situation #6: If you go to a job interview and you are not too confident, the key to your confidence is walking into your boss’ office, assuming they already like you.

Situation #7: Today your friend or partner has a birthday. It will be nice if instead of just telling them nice and kind words, you actually do something for them. People will remember not what you said, but how you made them feel.

Situation #8: You really want something from someone. Frame it as an offer rather than a request and they will do what you want.

Situation #9:
If you get yourself to be really happy and excited to meet or see other people, they will react in the same way. It doesn't always happen the first time, but it will definitely happen next time.

Situation #10: You are the team leader at work. Today, you need to ask your coworkers
team leader and coworkers
to do some task for you. First ask them to do something simpler (gradual commitment - makes them think you like them). In other similar situation, if they don’t want to do something that you want, ask them to do an unreasonable task. Probably they’ll say no. So then you ask them for what you wanted, a much more reasonable task. They will be more likely to agree that way.
